At Kids Second Chance, their mission is to focus on youth and their future. Too many youths are falling into problems with alcohol addiction, drug addiction, trouble with the law, and many other issues. Founder, Shane McDermott, started Kids Second Chance to be an advocate for helping troubled teens find the right path back to being a productive member of society.
Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of more than 200 Partner Agencies in 13 counties.
This network included 13 counties: Dallas, Denton, Collin, Fannin, Rockwall, Hunt, Grayson, Kaufman, Ellis, Navarro, Lamar, Delta, and Hopkins. In the first year, 400,000 pounds of food were distributed.
The Alzheimer’s Coalition of Henderson County strives to be recognized as a center of hope and support to people caring for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Our mission is to provide support services for caregivers of people living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Hand in Hand, the members of the Alzheimer’s Coalition of Henderson County walk with the caregivers in our community to navigate this journey.

Ten at a Time is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by the Miller family in 2014, in Georgetown, Texas. Their mission is simple: Do Good – Ten at a Time.
Ten At A Time is a group of 10 friends that come together once a month and pool together $10 dollars each of their own hard earned cash so that they can give $100 to people in need around the world each month.
